Our history

An experience that began in 1952

In 1952

It was built with the best facilities of the time on the initiative of Tullio Bottamedi born in 1902, a lifelong hotelier, and his wife Maria Fellin; hence the first name: Hotel Maria!

In 1981

The management is entrusted to the family of the grandson Bottamedi Ugo and his wife Adelia Fellin with their sons Tiziano, Tullio (pictured) and Gianmario.

In 1987

The hotel was completely demolished and rebuilt to bring it up to date.

In 1996

The Hotel Maria was sold to the Bottamedi Mansueto family, who ran the hotel until 2014, renovating it once again to bring its services up to date, creating the first wellness centre and changing its name in 1998 from Hotel Maria to Adler Hotel, thereby upgrading it from a * * * star to a * * * * star hotel.

In 2014

A son of Ugo and Adelia, Bottamedi Tullio, born in 1961 with his sons Simone and Andrea, once again took over the facility with the precise objective of dedicating all services to the well-being of the person, both body and mind.

In 2015

New changes began to bring the facility's services to a common purpose: well-being. The first major work was the doubling of the Wellness Centre, with the addition of the 25-person Finnish Sauna, the 15-person Bio Sauna and a new Relaxation Area.

In 2018

During the spring break, the Dolomiti Vital Pool was built, measuring 20 metres in length, with 9 metres indoors and 11 metres outdoors, heated all year round to 33°C.
At the same time, the new entrance, veranda and bar terrace were created.

In 2020

During the lockdown, the common areas such as the Lounge Bar , the Reception were renovated, as were the rooms on the first floor, creating three Garden Suites.

In 2024

The Wellness Centre was demolished, redesigned and rebuilt, enlarging the spaces, separating the relaxation areas from the active zone and building the 60 people Alpine Event Sauna, equipped with all available audio, light, video and special effects technology, the new 20 people Turkish bath and the restyling of the whirlpool, to ensure greater harmony. Thus was born the Sensorial Wellness World.

In 2025

The Bottamedi family decided to change the name to ADLER MERYEM * * * * wellness hotel, to remember the origins of Hotel Maria and at the same time to strengthen its identity.
